SkyyOS
The operating, assurance and data layer that connects request, supervision, record and delivery.
The operating, assurance and data layer that connects request, supervision, record and delivery.
SkyyOS is the layer that runs across every deployment. It is what makes a pod on a site into a service you can order from.
Request. Takes what you asked for and turns it into a mission against a site and an asset.
Validate. Checks availability, site operating constraints, weather and equipment health before anything flies. See Weather and constraints.
Coordinate. Puts the mission in front of a qualified operator and monitors the operation while it runs.
Record. Keeps the account of what was requested, what conditions it flew in, who supervised it and what was captured.
Deliver. Processes and quality checks capture, then delivers it in the form the mission type produces. See What you receive.
SkyyOS is not a flight controller. It does not replace the aircraft autopilot or vendor flight-safety systems, and flight-critical control and aircraft recovery remain within the supported aircraft and dock systems. See Safety and supervision.
A Host ordering an inspection from their own pod and a Fly customer ordering one from someone else's are using the same system, against the same record, with the same supervision. That is what lets one deployed asset serve both sides of the network without either side inheriting the other's complexity.
