Data you own

What belongs to the customer, what belongs to the site owner, and what SupaDrone holds.

Three parties can have an interest in a single mission: the customer who requested it, the owner of the site it was flown at, and SupaDrone. The separation between them is deliberate.

The customer who requested the mission

Delivered capture and the results derived from it belong to the customer who commissioned the mission. That includes the imagery, the measurements, the reports and the change comparisons, and it includes the mission record that makes them defensible.

Requesting a mission from a pod you do not own does not give the pod's owner your results. See Sharing and earnings.

The site owner

The site owner controls whether capture of their site can be licensed to anyone else. Nothing is listed without their explicit opt-in, and they take a share of what a listing sells for. This right sits with the site owner regardless of who paid for the original flight. See Rights and opt-in.

SupaDrone

SupaDrone holds the operational record required to run and account for the service: what flew, when, under what approvals and conditions, and under whose supervision. This is what makes the service auditable, and it is retained independently of any individual customer relationship.

Licences you grant

Using the service involves granting SupaDrone the limited rights needed to process, quality check, store and deliver your capture. Where you opt in to listing, a further licence applies to that material specifically. Both are set out in the Terms of Service.
